Product Description
Spin a Delicious Donut Number by Learning Moore in First is a great activity/ game combination to practice building numbers in the hundreds, with a focus on the hundreds, tens, and ones places.

2 Spinner Boards are included so you can differentiate for your learners who are just beginning to work with numbers in the hundreds, and those who are ready to work with numbers all the way through the 900's.

The activity includes a recording sheet, too- so you can see if students are understanding the concept of place value into the hundreds.

Once you’re class is finished with the Recording Sheet you can turn the spinner boards into a game for math centers or rotations. Game play works just like the activity they did with the recording sheet, except they’ll record each spin in the center of the corresponding donut, write their 3 digit number and compare it to their partner’s on the Spin a Delicious Donut Game Board. Then the partners will take turns spinning a spinner on the game board to see who gets the point– the larger or smaller number. Points will be tallied in the chart below the donuts. The first person to 10 is the winner!

Color and black and white versions included.

Enjoy!
