Such a fun way to practice place value to the hundreds! Your students will need to mentally answer problems such as “10 less than 43” and “100 more than 278.” If your students need more practice with this type of mental place value problem-solving, this activity may be just the thing they need!
Teachers of students in grades 2, 3 and 4 will find this activity helpful in giving their students the opportunity for mental addition and subtraction. It’s a great game to use with the whole class on Fun Fridays or the day before vacation when everyone is restless. You could also assign a student leader or parent helper to run the game during math centers for a small group of students that need extra practice.
Included in this activity:
20 Bingo Cards
60 Problem Cards
Recording Sheet (use is optional)
