Place Value Bump is a wonderful game for Math stations and assessing place value. Create groups of two or three with your students. Students will use a paper clip to spin the spinner and roll four dice. The student will need to say the value of the number in the particular place value. They will then place a marker on that number. The students will switch of taking turns. If a number already has a marker on it, the opponent has a chance to "bump" the other player off. If a student gets the same number twice, then he or she can place two markers on that number. It can no longer be "bumped" off and is safe from being taken away.
Thank you to kevinandamanda for their wonderful fonts and the 3AM teacher for the border!
