### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Assess your kiddos' understanding of place value with this adorable project. Students must make an argument to support their answers with the word problems. All other problems require an understanding of place value, expanded form, word form, rounding, number patterning, adding and subtraction 10, 100, 1000. (Answer Key Included)

This fun, yet challenging packet, was created to accompany the novel POPPY by Avi. The characters in this packet are based on the book. Students do NOT have to read the book in order to complete this packet. It is just a fun little companion project.

CCSS.Math.Content.2.NBT.A.1 Understand that the three digits of a three-digit number represent amounts of hundreds, tens, and ones; e.g., 706 equals 7 hundreds, 0 tens, and 6 ones. Understand the following as special cases:
