I made this cute Place Value activity to help my kiddos practice recognizing hundreds, tens, and ones - recognizing different amount of base tens, writing the corresponding number, and then practicing with the expanded number sentence. All you need is standard dice. I love the fat foam dice from the Dollar Store.
I have made two versions of the recording sheet/worksheets depending on your students' needs as well. There are two pages (front/back) focus on simply tens and ones with a trace example. There are two pages (front/back) focus on hundreds, tens, and ones with a trace example. Then I have also included another set of each (front/back) without the "trace examples", so that you can go back and use them as a follow up activity if needed. So in other words it can be used multiple times. :) There is a total of 8 pages 2 2-digit (front/back) and 2 3-digit (front/back).
