Have students play "the dot game" to practice identifying place value positions to the hundred thousands!

How to play:
1.) One at a time, students will roll a die. Each roll will correspond to a place value
2.) Students will locate a number on the game board that has a bold red number (or
color-coded number) in that place value position.
3.) The game is then played like the traditional “dot game” as the player draws a line
to connect two dots around the box.
4.) The student to draw the 4th line around a box writes their initials inside to claim
Have students read the number
Have students identify the value of the place value position
Student with the most boxes claimed at the end of the game wins
