Product Description
Have students play "the dot game" to practice identifying place value positions to the hundred thousands!

*Recommended to print in color

How to play:
1.) One at a time, students will roll a die. Each roll will correspond to a place value
position.

2.) Students will locate a number on the game board that has a bold red number (or
color-coded number) in that place value position.

3.) The game is then played like the traditional “dot game” as the player draws a line
to connect two dots around the box.

4.) The student to draw the 4th line around a box writes their initials inside to claim
it.

Optional:
Have students read the number
Have students identify the value of the place value position
Student with the most boxes claimed at the end of the game wins
