Place Value: This resource is designed to provide a fun way for students to practice counting base ten blocks up to 50 by tens and ones. Students move their game pieces around the game board by rolling the dice and counting the tens and ones on the card they pick. Included are 3 different worksheets that that can be used as a wrap up after the game. It is a game that students can use independently with a partner or with a group during math centers. It can also be used by a general education or special education teacher with a group of students who may be struggling with counting by tens and ones but who are motivated by learning games. Great for special education students who have IEP goals in math in the area of place value and number sense.
Intended for grades K-2.
