Students will work on number sense while having fun. Catch Those Creepy Crawlies is played like Go Fish. Students can match pairs or work to collect a set of four cards. This file contains cards with numbers less than 100. Cards have numbers written in standard form, written form, using tally marks, and using place value blocks.
There are also five worksheets included with this file for additional practice. The first worksheet has students identifying the number of tens and ones using place value blocks. The second worksheet has students matching numbers in standard form with numbers in written form. The third worksheet has students completing a table with tally marks and standard numbers. The fourth worksheet has students comparing numbers using >, <, or = (numbers are written in standard form, word form, base-10 blocks, or tally marks). The fifth worksheet has students spinning to create a 2-digit number and then spinning to determine whether they will write the word in base-10 blocks, tally marks, or word form. (Answer keys are included for the worksheets).
