Description

Practicing place value doesn't have to be boring. Students can count base-ten blocks to 100 in this fun game. They will have so much fun with the game, they won't even realize they are practicing place value as they play!

Base-Ten War is a twist on the traditional card game, "War." Instead of comparing numbers, players count the base-ten/place value blocks on their cards and the player with the largest number wins the hand! The cards in this set include numbers through 100. The game can be played with pairs or small groups of students.

This math game includes directions and 48 game cards, featuring a combination of base-ten blocks and numerals to 100. Included are both colored and black/white cards, as well as 3 practice pages (in English and Spanish) for counting base ten blocks.

There are several more fun place value activities in my store. Take a look!
