In Base-Ten War to 1000, players count the base-ten/place value blocks on their cards and the player with the largest number wins the hand! It is a fun twist on the traditional War game. The game can easily be played with pairs or small groups of students.
This math game includes directions and game cards for 128 game cards. These cards represent 32 numbers four different ways:
• base-ten blocks
• number words (in English and Spanish)
• expanded form
There are also three pages to practice counting base-ten blocks, reading number words, and writing numbers in expanded form, each with an answer key.
There are several more fun place value activities in my store. Take a look!
