    Description

Need place value games? You've come to the right place! One thing I have been asked for repeatedly is bundles of games...and I have struggled because often teachers who are looking for a fractions game, don't really care about a game for basic addition facts--but I think I've come up with a solution!

Introducing--"Bright Ideas Bundles"--small collections of games on a single topic--like fractions, or place value, or addition. By putting several of these games together, your stations or centers are ready to roll--and nicely organized in one folder. Also, to help with classroom organization, I have included some suggestions for use AND labels to use on bags or bins to really keep all your resources ready to use. I hope you like these mini collections!

This edition focuses on place value and rounding concepts--giving students experience studying 4 and 5 digit numbers, sequencing them, "building" them, and then rounding smaller numbers to both the 10's and 100's place.

It is so important that our students develop a solid understanding of our place value "base 10" system--it becomes critical as we move to larger numbers, decimals, fractions, and more. Simply using < or > symbols doesn't develop deep enough understanding--so we need to provide students with more chances to study numbers, play with numbers, and talk about numbers. Use these game to TEACH, then let students continue to play it to practice fluency! Perfect for interventions for intermediate grades and equally ideal for ALL students in grades 1 and 2.

Check out the preview to see the four games. Links are included if you want to read the descriptions of each. Remember, if you already own these games, this bundle won't help you unless you want to add the labels to your organization system.
