"Give A Dog A Bone" is a terrific adding with and without regrouping game that your students will love.
Number sense and decision making activities are fun and motivating when selecting dominoes from a "bone yard". Kids are actively twisting and turning dominoes, making numbers in place value that when added will equal each sum.
Children practice using good logical reasoning skills, mental math and problem solving, as they manipulate their numbers and the variety of game boards allow for extended play and practice.
Have students work in cooperative pairs and listen to their "math talk" as they make decisions and check their math.

This is a fabulous math activity for any math center and the colorful game boards are also included in black line master form for easy reproduction.
Each of the 9 sets come with a self-checking board, making this a terrific independent or math center activity.
Your "Little Geniuses" will have some "Dog Gone Fun" with these fun games!
