Students will enjoy getting in the mood for fall or Halloween as they use place value clues to color in a hundreds chart.
The finished hundreds chart will reveal an owl. This would be an excellent center or workstation during guided math or math groups. It's also a great activity to have a substitute do with the students on those days you can't be there.
I plan to use this for a week as a morning routine to spiral the concepts of place value and finding patterns in a 100s chart.
I hope you find this to be a useful activity. If you like my work, please rate it!
