Make learning about place value fun and engaging with this place value interactive notebook!
These hands-on activities can be used as an introduction to place value or as a review. Interactive notebooks are a great way to keep students' notes and practice activities all in one place.
I have included activities for all Numbers in Base Ten (NBT) Common Core State Standards that pertain to place value (not including multiplication) for grades three and four. This is useful for students working below grade level as fourth graders, or it can be used as a challenge for third graders.
The features of this notebook include a student notebook cover, a table of contents for each student notebook (that students complete as they finish each task), a work in progress envelope to store unfinished pieces, 14 engaging activities, a handful of literature resources, and a visuals page to help you know how to set up each activity (see preview).
You will need:
*spiral or composition notebook for each student
*glue bottle or glue stick
*1 brad (fastener) per student
*card stock for spinner
*crayons or colored pencils
