Product Description
An important concept for children to understand is that a numeral can represent a different number depending on where it is placed.
For example,
7 ones = 7, however, 7 tens = 70.

In addition to this, students need to be confident in arranging numbers to suit the purpose - ie: if you have the numbers 1,2,3 - they can represent a whole range of numbers (123, 231, 312 etc...).

The focus of this activity to consolidate this understanding and reinforce the notion that 7 tens = 70 etc....

An added benefit of this system is that it helps your child gain confidence in reading numbers correctly and understanding (by seeing and doing) that a zero CAN effect a number's value.

Comes complete with lesson/activity ideas for use :)
