This is an easy way to get students working together and learning! Simply make multiple copies on different colored paper, cut along the lines, and put the sets into baggies. Student groups work together to match the three forms of the place value numbers: numeral form (standard form), word form, and expanded form. The numbers represent whole number values to the billions period and decimals to the thousandths place. It's quick and easy to play, but also reviews the necessary core standards!
When the students have correctly matched the three forms, they can put the numbers in order or use them to compare!
