Place Value Higher/ Lower: Classroom favorite! Print off the ones/tens/hundreds cards for each player and laminate. Also print off two sets of cards for each student (you can pick whichever color you like). Students pick 3 cards from their deck and place in any order on their cards. The student with the highest number gets to keep all of the cards. The student with all of the cards at the end wins.
Place Value Memory: Students place all of the cards face down. Students take turns picking two cards to try to match the number and the ten frames. The student with the most matches win.
Sequencing Cards: These cards can be used in small or large group to practice sequencing numbers in order by looking at place value.
Roll, Build, Write: Children roll two dice, and write the two numbers under the roll category. In the build category students build using classroom manipulatives and draw them in the build section. After the students build, the child writes down the tens and ones for that particular number.
