Perfect station for students to practice breaking down numbers into tens and ones place!
Each page in this PLACE VALUE math station has 3 numbers. Students must show each number as:
-a whole number
-as ten rods and unit cubes
-an expanded notation
-number of 10s and 1s
-16 pages (3 numbers each, TOTAL of 48 numbers to practice)
-1 page of suggested use
-1 thank you page :)
Teachers may provide manipulatives as further scaffolding for students that need actual ten rods and unit cubes. Or teachers may fill in more parts so students are provided with additional differentiation.
Your students will quickly learn about place values while "playing" in this station. Blank templates have been provided as well for teachers' convenience.
Let me know how this works for you. Enjoy! :)
