Are you looking for a quick way to check your students’ understanding of place value concepts and allow them the chance to practice place value skills? This pack may be the answer!
Give a set of number cards to each student or table group. I print them onto colored cardstock paper and laminate them. We keep our number cards in mini zipper bags.
Each day, we do one of the problem cards at the beginning of math class. These are a great way to quickly check student understanding. Students can also use the number cards to practice with each other. There are 2 sets of problem cards, you can have them do 5 or pick your own number. Print and laminate these problem cards and you can keep them to reuse.
There are 30 number cards (and one sheet of blank cards) and 6 problem cards. There are also 6 additional activities on a chart that students can do on their own to continue to practice their place value skills.
You can use the paper rectangle answer sheets to record results or use write and wipe boards.
