Suggestion: In order to maximize learning and increase student participation, I save this file as a PDF and print with 2 slides per page. This becomes a student workbook. As I am teaching, the students fill the books in. They LOVE filling the pages out and have commented that they feel as though they each have their own smartboards to interact with. I have seen marked improvement in student understanding since creating all of my math units and presenting the information in this manner. Also, when a student is absent, you can send the workbook home and they can see exactly what was covered in class that day.
Quick Checks/Worksheets are also available to purchase in my store. They are a great follow up to each lesson.
If you like this unit, check out all of my other units available in my store. Every single Math unit for second grade is not complete and available. They are all fully aligned with the common core as well.
