This is a simple game for 2 or more players to be used as a memory type game. It can also be used by one student at a time as a sorting game. I have made Label titles for the categories if a student is sorting them.
There are 4 ways to make each number:
1. written form (two hundred ten for example)
2. expanded notation (200+10)
3. Base ten cubes
4. The whole number (210 for example written as is)
*Each number has 4 possible ways to be expressed and can be sorted under the categories ( written form, expanded notation, Base ten, or number)
Very easy set up for a center. Print out (I used card stock), laminate (if possible), cut, and place in a baggie. Now you have a mini game that practices place value.
