Product Description
This complete pack of 36 question cards are perfect for everyday use during your place value unit. Use these cards to help extend your students' learning, expose them to place value vocabulary like standard form, expanded form, and value, and guide your teaching so that all students are given multiple opportunities to manipulate numbers.

These cards are very easy to use all you have to do is print out the 9 pages, cut them apart, and laminate them for durability. You can place them on a ring or keep them in a small box making sure to use them daily to extend your students’ learning.

You can use these cards to supplement your whole group lesson by using a mystery bucket and pulling out different tasks for your students to complete, or you can use them in a center or as a quick one on one assessment.

Some sample questions included ask students to find the value of a given number, one/ten/hundred more or less than a given number, compare two numbers, write the expanded/standard/word form of the given number, identify the number of hundreds/tens/ones in a number, identify the number of flats/longs/units needed to build a number, skip count from a given number by 5s/10s/100s, identify the smallest and largest number you can make with 2-4 given digits and many more.

*These cards are geared towards second grade but many of them can still be used in both first and third. Feel free to omit any question that may be too difficult or too easy for your grade level.
