Base-10 place-value relationships is usually a difficult concept for my students to understand. I created this worksheet in order to give my students additional practice in interpreting the value of a place-value position in relation to another place-value position.
Students need to understand that, when referring to the same digit in both positions,
a given place-value position to the left is 10 times more than the place-value position to the right and that the place-value position to the right is one-tenth the place-value position on the left.
My place-value relationship practice sheet helps give students extra practice in a math work station, as an assessment, or for homework.
