Each card involves students either identifying a digit in a place value, naming place value, determining the value of a digit, and heavy emphasis has been placed on converting numbers into standard, expanded, or word form. Randomly place cards around classroom and allow student to walk around answering each question. At the end students can check their answers with the provided answer key. This is a great activity for small groups during your place value unit or as a remediation activity. Students can work individually or with a partner.
