Teaching place value is fun and easy with this worksheet. Students use playing cards to determine a two-digit number and distinguish the place value of each digit. The attached printable has room for four repetitions of the process, but it can be repeated as many or as few times as necessary to meet your students' needs.
The worksheet includes spaces for students to write the number they created, the tens and ones in that number, and an addition problem to create that number.
Ex: 42. 4 tens, 2 ones. 40 + 2 = 42.
