Place Value Task Cards
These task cards have numbers represented in standard form, expanded form, written form and using base ten blocks.
You can use these in many different ways. One way to place the cards face down. Each person takes a turn choosing a card. When a card is chosen, they have to show that number using base ten blocks. Their partner checks their answer.
Another version is the same, but they can draw the base ten blocks instead of using them. A recording form is included. You can laminate the paper and they can use dry erase markers.
Yet another way is to use the recording form and have the students fill in the whole thing, no matter what form the card is in, they have to fill in all the ways on the form.
