This product supports Math TEKS 4.2B & CCSS: 4.NBT.A.2
4.2B - representing the value of digits to one billion
4.NBT.A.2 - use base-10 place value understandings to read and write multi-digit whole numbers
Included in this purchase are an instruction sheet, 20 task cards, two different game boards (for two ways to play), an answer key, and a blank instruction page.
Use these place value task cards to give your students practice naming the value of digits in multi-digit numbers, naming the period that a number falls in, writing numbers in expanded form, and solving place value mysteries.
Task cards have so many uses!! You can use them for whole group review, to play Scoot, as a math station activity, for morning work or work for early finishers, in tutorial groups, during guided math activities or any other way you can think of. Just print on cardstock, laminate and cut out and you are ready to go.
I hope you enjoy these and find them helpful in your classroom.
Note: To use the instructions as is, teachers will need to write the answers from the answer key on the back of each notecard. I have included a blank instruction sheet (jpeg format) for teachers to copy and paste into a blank word file and write their own individual instructions if they so desire.
