This Place Value Game is easy to make and even easier to play! It's perfect for learning how to count tens and then add on ones.
When I first introduce the game, I have the kids toss the sticks, separate the tens and ones, and count. Highest number wins.
The next day, I have them use these recording sheets. I then send home the game in a Baggie along with a recording sheet for homework.
The students LOVE this game. You will, too!
Seconds to make and hours of fun!
