1. Let's Learn Base 10-Look at the pictures of base 10 blocks, and write the number represented in a place value chart.

2. Circle the Place-In the given numbers, circle the number in the ones place, tens place, hundreds place, or thousands place.

3. Apple Place Value-Look at the numbers, and write the number in each place.

4. What's the Value?-Write the value of the underlined digits.

5. Word Up-Roll 3 or 4 dice, write the number in standard form, and then write the number in word form.

6. Write it Out-Look at the picture of base 10 blocks, and write the number represented in word form.

7. Let's Learn Expanded Form (to the hundreds)-Place Value chart with given number in each place. Write the total number in each place, and then add to show expanded form.

8. Let's Learn Expanded Form (to the thousands)-Place Value chart with given number in each place. Write the total number in each place, and then add to show expanded form.

9. Expand the Pig (to the hundreds)-Look at the number in the pig, and write it in expanded form.

13. Fishy Numbers-Draw a line from the fish (standard form) to the matching bubble (expanded form).

14. Cupcake Match Up-Cut and glue to match standard form and word form.

15. Owl Match Up-Cut and glue to match numbers in different forms.

16. Complete the Row-Fill in the blank spaces by writing the numbers in all forms.

17. Roll a Number-Roll 3 or 4 dice. The numbers rolled represent a number (example: If you roll a 3, 8, and 1, the number is 381). Write the number in all forms.

18. Which is Less?-Match the butterfly to the flower that shows the smaller number.

19. Which is Less?-In each frame, circle the smaller number.

20. Which is More?-Pictures of base 10 blocks represent a number. Use a dot marker to mark the larger number.

21. Which is More?-In each frame, circle the larger number.

22. Less Than, Greater Than, Equal To-Cut out the symbols for greater than, less than, and equal to. Glue them between pairs of numbers to show the relationship.

23. Order Up-Order numbers to the hundred place from greatest to least.

24. Order Up-Order numbers to the thousands place from greatest to least.

25. Order Up-Cut and glue numbers in order from least to greatest (to the hundreds place).

26. Order Up-Cut and glue numbers in order from least to greatest (to the thousands place).

**Below is a description of each center activity.**

1. Place Value Line Up-Use cards with values of 1,000, 100, 10, and 1 to show how much is in each place for a given number.

2. Roll It, Build It!-Roll 3 or 4 dice. Each number rolled is written in a place value chart to make a number. Use base 10 blocks to build the number.

3. Write It/Wipe It-Laminate the given place value chart or put it in a plastic sleeve. Draw 3 or 4 cards from a deck of cards. The number on each card is written on the place value chart to make a number.

4. Build a Number-Use base 10 blocks to build the numbers shown on the picture cards.

5. What's My Number?-Cards explain what number is in each place. Figure out the number represented, and write it on the response sheet.

6. Fishing for a Match-This is played like "Go Fish," but instead of matching 2 numbers in standard form, match a number in standard form to a number in word form.

7. Spin a Number-Spin a number on the game board. Write the number in expanded form on the response sheet.

8. Clip Cards-Each card shows a number in word form, expanded form, or base 10 model form. Underneath, there are three numbers in standard from. Use a clothespin to mark the matching standard from number.

9. 4 Star Match Up-There are 4 sets of stars, each showing a number in standard form, word form, expanded form, and base 10 model form. Match the 4 stars for each number.

10. Winning Ticket-Determine if certain numbers are more or less than the number on the "Winning Ticket."

11. Greater Than, Less Than, Equal to-Number strips show 2 numbers. Use the symbol cards to show the relationship between the numbers (greater than, less than, or equal to).

12. Order the Deck-Draw 3 or 4 cards from a deck to make numbers to the hundreds place or thousands place. Order the cards from greatest to least or least to greatest.

13. Coconut Order Up-Pictures of coconut show numbers in either standard from, word form, or expanded form. Order the coconuts from greatest to least or least to greatest.
