This document contains three slightly different set of puzzles on a 1-150 number chart, leading to the three images of children in winter hats that are shown on the cover.
For each image I have included two puzzles - a BASIC one and an ADVANCED one - so this is a total of six puzzles!
The BASIC puzzles can be used to practice number recognition and place value. Since the puzzles use a 1-150 board, they are a good next step for students already familiar with similar activities on the 1-100 board.
The ADVANCED puzzles require adding, subtracting and computing doubles and halves of numbers to get to the solution. These puzzles provide a fun way to practice mental math skills and are intended for advanced lower elementary students that enjoy a challenge.
I have included in the preview file the answer key for one basic puzzle and one advanced one, so you can get an idea of the kind of work that is required of the students.
