Product Description
Need some reinforcements for your place value lessons? Take these sweet numbers and stretch them into math center tasks for practicing several different place value concepts OR use them in small group lessons. No real candy needed, but there are lots of candy shapes to manipulate. Answer keys (where appropriate) are included. A couple of these tasks will really make students think and apply their knowledge. All tasks are available in color or black and white. Labels and "I Can" labels are included. I liked assembling some tasks with Velcro (directions explain), but that is not vital to the usage.

This sweet unit offers:

1. Sequencing Numbers-either largest to smallest or smallest to largest of the two or three digit variety

2. Reading the Pattern and writing in the missing element in either two-digit or three-digit sequences

3. Number Word Chart of Teen numbers for student reference or use in Math Journals

4. Independent Task-draw small candies to show reading skill of teen number words

5. Use “Wrapped Candies” to show +10 and -10 of a given number and/or to show +100 or -100 of a given number

6. 24 “It’s In the Bag Cards” on which to write a portion of a 100 chart (or a 1,000 chart ) inside the grid

7. 2 “Sort the Candy” games-one set for addition answers and one set for subtraction

You can download the FREE Two Digit Sweet Numbers Sequencing in my store for free to try one activity, which is part of this packet.
