#NewYearNewResources Planning has never been easier, and teaching has never been more effective! This unit is composed of 11 interactive and engaging projectable lessons! These lessons explicitly teach learners multiple strategies for understanding place value. Learners will also develop their problem solving skills, communicate about math, and engage in critical thinking.
You will receive both a PDF and a PowerPoint presentation of every lesson. You can project these lessons in your classroom, print the lessons to work with small group, or use them on a tablet! You will receive the link for the documents in Google Docs so you can access them on any device! They are perfect for the classroom or for home school learners!
Every lesson includes 6 important components:
Warm Up - build number fluency
Brain Stretch- application word problem
Pep Talk- introduction of new skill
Huddle Up- cooperative learning opportunity
Practice Time- practice page and work mat
Cool Down- closing activity or assessment
Learners will love the practice pages and matching work mats. These pages can be printed or projected. They are ideal for a quick assessment or independent activity! As a teacher, you will also love the choice of binder covers with spine labels, lessons overview, and unit notes.
