Place Value is such an important math concept to understand. This bundled pack of games and worksheets will provide your students with lots of practice opportunities so they can master place value to 1,000.

Pack 1 - 26 Worksheets and 3 no-prep games

The worksheets and games have been organized as follows:

Identifying numbers from base ten blocks

▶️ 2 cut and paste sheets for each of the following number groupings: 100 – 200, 200 – 300, 300 – 400, 400 – 500. These 8 worksheets do not have teen numbers or numbers with zero e.g. 312, 409, 280. (Difficulties with three digit numbers occur most frequently when there is a teen number or a zero in the tens or ones place.)

▶️ 8 cut and paste sheets with numbers that include teen numbers and numbers with a zero in the ones place.

Expanded form

This pack contains nine colored single page place value games and six black ink games. The black ink games can be used as a two player game or an interactive worksheet for a single player.

In this place value game, players use the code to find the number they must move to.

▶️ Heroes in the Hundreds (2 - 4 players)

Players determine the criteria which best fits the three digit number they have made.

This is a place value board game that requires players to identify numbers in their written, expanded or base 10 block form.

▶️ Searching for Supper (2 - 4 players)

Players must use base ten blocks, collecting more ones as they move around the board. Players must identify if they can make a hundred. The winner will make a thousand.

▶️ Leaping over Lily Pads (1 - 2 players)

Players identify the number from its base ten block form.

▶️ Ants with Apples (1 - 2 players)

Players identify the number from its base ten block form.

▶️ Juggling Jellybeans (1 - 2 players)

Players identify the number that comes before the number spun.

▶️ Hats on Cats (1 - 2 players)

Players identify the number that is either 100 more or 10 less than the number spun.

▶️ Bees with Books (1 - 2 players)

Players identify the number that is either 100 less or 10 more than the number spun.

▶️ Three in a Row (1 - 2 players)

Players identify the number from its expanded form.
