This ‘Ways to Show a Number’ Board and Card set is an easy way to give your students practice to help them become more proficient at place value to 99. The board has the students show a given number in 6 different ways. The board is good for small group instruction or as a place value center activity. The boards should be photocopied onto 11 x 17 manila tag, and then laminated, so that students can use a water erasable marker to record their answers and then erase them once they have checked them. There are 80 different task cards each showing a number from 1 to 99 on the front and the answers on the back. The cards should be photocopied, double-sided onto 11 x 17 manila tag. Then cut the cards out and mix them up. The cards are then ready and easy for students to use to self-check the accuracy of their work.
