These number grid puzzles help students with their knowledge of the hundreds chart, place value, and how numbers change with movement through the hundreds chart. I use these as a whole class activity in order to teach the use of them and then have students who need additional practice work on them during math stations.
These directions are included on the file:
You can chose to use the sheets that have missing spaces and have the student write what the missing numbers make and then fill in the blanks to complete the chart. (Answers are listed.) The other way you can complete this activity is to give the students the full number grid & one of the sets of numbers. The students color in the selected numbers to find the shape they create. I have students staple the slip they received to the blank hundreds chart so I can check their work.
Enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions!
