Plan Your Class Party: A Culminating Project

This project based learning experience is great for the weeks leading up to a class party, or a wonderful way to wrap up the school year. Students are provided with a series of tasks meant to guide them in planning their own class party which can be based on an actual class party that can be had, or their dream class party.

Included are:
-A research portion
-Four writing tasks (persuasive, procedural, expository, and narrative)
-Three math tasks (place value and operations, elapsed time, and measurement)
-Mapping task
-A poster project to tie it all together and show off their learning
-A rubric for the project
