This 5 day Plane Shape Riddles slide show addresses:
Recognize and draw shapes having specified attributes, such as a given number of angles or a given number of equal faces.
Indentify triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes.
On Monday, the slides review/introduce triangle, square, rectangle, rhombus, trapezoid, quadrilateral, pentagon, and hexagon.
On Tuesday, students are asked to name a shape based on sides, angles, and/or vertices.
On Wednesday, students are asked to identify a shape as compared to another shape using the terms 1 more or 1 less.
On Thursday, students are asked to add/subtract the number of angles, sides, or vertices between shapes.
On Friday, there is a 10 questions quick check up to assess students’ knowledge of the sides, vertices, and angles of plane shapes.
