Here is an excellent resource to help you and your students identify and compare the attributes of geometric figures.
This plane and solid shape attributes chart has columns for students to:
• draw a picture of the shape
• fill in the names of each shape
• tell whether it is a plane (2D) or solid (3D) shape
• tell how many angles
• tell how many sides
• tell how many vertices
• tell how many faces
• tell how many edges
This chart can be used with any plane or solid shape as a graphic organizer for whole group, small group work, or in math centers.
