This is an impressionistic game that helps children understand planet size. This game uses basketball and geometry to compare the sizes of planets in our solar system. Basketballs will represent either moons or planets, and each made basket will add to a sum that the children are trying to achieve to create a planet. This game can be very exciting for the students as they all work together to try and make a certain amount of baskets. The teacher(s) will have to be very attentive during the game to keep track of all the baskets that are being made during the game. This game works very well with the First Great Lesson.
