Students always love sky science and learning about the planets. This year my kids wanted to do a research project, so they researched each planet!
Some did this on the computer (Google Drive, Powerpoint) and others chose to make creative journal pages with planet booklets. They are given class time for this assignment 90 minutes when they start their research but by the end they can do a planet in about an hour.
Regardless of which option they chose, there was set info that needed to be found for each of the planets (enclosed in the file)
Included in this file are 2 separate marking schemes. The first is used by myself. The second is used by my students. There are two separate comment pages - one for just a teacher comment/mark, and one for teacher and student comment/marks.
This file is a Word document so it can be customized to suit your classroom's needs.
