Product Description
How many of you have students that have trouble remember facts about the planets or even the order of the planets? How many of you have trouble remembering these too? It is okay! I have trouble remembering them too! My students definitely have trouble doing this each year!

This fun product was created to help students remember the order of the planets and remember facts about the planets.

The students will be creating a sequence chain! The instructions are as follows:

The students will each be given a sun, and both pages with the planet chain links. The students will color, cut apart, and create a chain with the correct sequence of the planets. When finished, the students will glue one small portion of the Mercury link to the Sun. The students will then have a planet chain to display their knowledge of the order of the planets.

(Please check my preview to see samples of this so it will make more sense!)

If your students have ever made one of those Christmas paper chains, this is the same concept! Easy but effective!

Each chain has facts on it about that planet. OR there is an option with blanks where the students can fill in in facts! (I love the one with blanks for a research project!)

The links are NOT in order on the page because we are trying to assess their knowledge of the order of the planets. However, if the students will read the facts, it will tell them what number of planet each planet is from the sun. :) To make it more challenging, do the chain without the facts included (the blank option.)

Each type of chain comes in either color or black and white (to save on ink!) With the black and white version, just have the students color the planets. Great for learning the color of each planet!

What a great project to help your students in the area of the Solar System!

NOTE: The moon is not included since the moon is just EARTH'S moon. It would not fit properly in the sequence but is great to talk about!

Please let me know if you have any questions and as always, please leave feedback!

Thanks a million!
