Product Description
This packet includes 4 different party planning options. Students can plan a Birthday Party, a St. Patrick's Party, an Easter Party, and/or an End of the Year Party. Students will combine many math, research, and writing skills to plan a party for 24 kids. Skills included in this project are subtracing up to 5 digits, repeated addition/simple multiplication, area, problem solving (to decide on items for the party), and descriptive writing. I had students use Oriental Trading magazines to find the supplies for their party! You could also use on-line research. You can either have students pick one party to plan or have them plan more than one throughout the year!
