This resource is an engaging way for students to apply what they've learned about plant adaptations. Students spin a paper clip to determine different conditions in which the plant will need to survive, creating parameters for them to design a new plant. They should be designing a plant with adaptations developed specifically to thrive in those conditions. After spinning to determine the conditions and creating and drawing a new plant, they can then use the corresponding writing template to write about the new plant they have designed.
