This is BOTH the colored and black and white versions of my Plant Books. Sometimes it's great to have a colored copy for the teacher edition/presentation and a black and white copy for the students' own use.
I have created a hand drawn book to help students understand the biology of plants by bringing it to life visually. So many of our students get bogged down with the vocabulary of science and it is hard to get the concepts to stick. Not much is more difficult to understand than things like photosynthesis. In this book I have covered topics like the anatomy of a leaf, root structure, vascular/nonvascular plants, flower structure, photosynthesis, and much more. This comprehensive book has large and intricate drawings while simplifying the written words. I want the pictures to speak for themselves to our students. Along with the book, I have added a list of ways you can incorporate this into your classroom. This is a great tool to differentiate learning across all abilities of students! This is also a great tool for students to work on and put in their science notebooks. It really brings the topic to life!
