Cut apart pages 12-21 to create bookmarks that name the plants - there's a plant for every letter of the alphabet and more! You could use these to make a plant ABC book. A struggling student writes about a plant that's very familiar or easy to spell like apple or banana. A capable student writes about an unfamiliar or unique plant like a quince.
Cut a set of pages horizontally and then cut in half vertically to create cards students can match as they learn the names of different fruits, roots, stems, leaves, and seeds that they eat.
Cut apart a set of paper horizontally and vertically to create a mix and match game.
There's also a Spanish version

that saves you $$.
