Plant Life Cycle, Spring STEM activity, sorting by color and shape

This plant life cycle lesson is perfect for your spring preschool science lesson. It is so much fun and there are many styles to teach this. It is SURE to keep your kids fully engaged for longer lessons. These activities are my FAVORITE! Sort the different steps, colors, and shapes of the flower life cycle by using colored dried pasta. Use any of the choices of cards/charts provided.

Your child will learn to:

  • Learn the life cycle/parts of a flower
  • Enhance fine motor
  • Work independently
  • Gain focus skills
  • Identify colors
  • Identify textures
  • Identify different shapes of pasta

  • 2 flower life cycle/parts full sized pages (varying pasta shape for flower)
  • 2 build a flower full size pages (varying pasta shape for flower)
  • 20 individual 4"x 2.9" sorting cards
  • 3 simple no prep worksheets, (Color, draw, cut and paste)
