Plant your seeds and watch them grow, record your observations when they start to show!
Students will write a step-by-step plan of their science experiment that includes their tools/materials and process. Every few days the students can journal about the changes they see happening. If no changes occur this opens up a great conversation as to why a plant may or may not grow and what they could do to problem solve the situation. A great way to incorporate informative/explanatory writing into a science unit!
The pages of the journal work best when printed back to back and stapled into a booklet.
