This Plant parts investigation lab is an extremely fun way for students to learn about and review parts of a plant and their function. We have seen many foods in the supermarket but do we know what part of a plant they actually come from? Are they the stem? Maybe the root.
Students will conduct this supermarket investigation lab by first researching the characteristics and functions of the various plant parts. Then they will observe 15 different foods and predict which part of the plant it comes from.
