I created this activity as independent practice for my students to practice identifying products that come from plants. After my lesson and discussion on plant products, I plan to give this worksheet to my students to see if they can read the items and identify if it comes from a plant. They color the items that do come from plants--chair, gum, aloe gel, medicine, etc. and the X out the items that do not come from plants--nail, hammer, salt, etc. This can be a seatwork during centers, an assessment tool, or guided/independent practice.
