This is a flap book perfect for science interactive notebooks. This covers the topics of Plant and Animal Adaptations - hibernation, migration, camouflage, and dormancy.

I created this for my Virginia 2nd graders when we study Virginia Science SOL 2.7a but I'm sure that many other states cover these same topics.

I have included a cover page with terms, a reverse page with definitions, a page for them to select up to four animals that hibernate and migrate, 3 animals to choose from for them to show camouflage, and 4 bare trees for them to color to show seasonal changes. I have also included a sheet of animal pictures, and two pages of writing flaps in case you want your students to also write about the topic.

I hope you find it useful and I hope your students learn a lot from it.
